Introduction
In today’s rapidly evolving world, the ability to navigate challenges, identify opportunities, and foster innovative thinking is essential for students to succeed. An entrepreneurial mindset equips students with the skills and mindset required for their holistic development, enabling them to thrive in both their academic journey and future careers. To address this need, Karkhana, King’s College, and Antarprerana are collaborating to introduce the ‘Entrepreneurial Mindset Empowerment Program,’ a transformative initiative designed for students in Grades 9 to 12.
2. Makerspace and STEAM Club
What is Makerspace?
A makerspace is, as the name suggests, a lab that is equipped to help you make things. It has elements of a science lab, a computer lab, and even a workshop where students can be innovative and bring their most creative ideas to life. Usually, the makerspace is planned for about 220 square feet (about 1 average classroom). This space will accommodate 15-20 students at a time.
What is a STEAM Club?
STEAM Club is a platform for students who are interested in STEAM-related activities to explore the concepts of STEAM beyond the classroom. It can also be understood as a learning space that connects ideas with reality by empowering students through peer-based learning to convert their imagination into physical prototypes.
