Dopper Changemaker Challenge Junior Online मा सहभागी हुनु!

अहिलेको बिसम परिस्थितीले गर्दा केही हप्ता देखि हामी आ-आफ्नो घरैमा बस्न बाध्य भएका छाैँ । हाल तुरुन्तै विधालयहरु सन्चालन हुने कुनै लक्षण देखिदैन । विधालयहरु बन्द भएता पनि विधार्थीहरुको विद्या हासिल गर्ने अधिकारको हनन् हुनुहुदैन भन्ने मध्य नजर राख्दै कतिपय विधालयहरुले अन्लाइन कक्षा सन्चालन गरेका छन् र त्यही माध्यमबाट विधार्थीहरुले आफ्नो पढाइलाई निरन्तर्ता दिदै आएका छन् ।

वर्तमान लकडाउन अवस्थामा कारखानाले Dopper Foundation and Designathon Works सँग सहकार्य गर्दै Changemaker Challenge Junior को अन्लाइन संस्करण ल्याएका छाैँ । यदि तपाइ आफ्नो भाईबहिनी, विधार्थी वा बालबालिकालाई केहि चाखलाग्दो शैक्षिक स्रोत र गतिविधिहरुमा संलग्न गराउन चाहानु हुन्छ भने Changemaker Challenge Junior तपाइको लागि सहि कार्य हो । यस मार्फत ८ देखि १४ वर्षिय बालबालिकाहरुले डिस्पोजेबल प्लास्टिकको बारे बुझेर त्यसको पहिचान गर्न सक्नेछन् र बालबालिकाहरु आफैले  डिस्पोजेबल प्लास्टिकको सामाधान उत्पन्न गरी आफ्नो सामाधानको चित्रण गर्नसक्नेछन् ।

Changemaker Junior Challenge Online कसरी काम गर्छ त?

पहिलो चरण: दर्ता
हाम्रो Online Challenge को बारेमा थाहा पाउनुभए पछाडि, तपाइले आफ्नो लागि वा आफ्नो कक्षा/विधार्थी/छोराछोरी वा भाईबहिनीहरुको लागि यस Online Challenge को लागि रजिस्टर गर्न आवश्यक पर्छ । रजिस्टर गर्नका लागि तपाइले यस फारम भर्न सक्नु हुनेछ:  Google forms । यो फारम मार्फत हामीले यस कार्यमा तपाईंको रुचि बारे जान्न सक्नेछाैँ ।
हामीले तपाईंको दर्ता प्राप्त गरेपछि हामी तपाईंलाई ईमेल मार्फत सम्पर्क गरी, यस Online Challenge पूरा गर्नको लागि चाहिने सम्पूर्ण पाठ संसाधनहरूको विवरण पठाउने छाैँ ।

दोस्रो चरण: यस Online Challenge पूरा गरी यसको सामाधान गर्नका लागि तपाइको विचारहरु बुझाउने

ईमेल मार्फत सम्पूर्ण पाठ संसाधनहरूको विवरण पाउनुहुना साथ तपाइले यस Online Challenge को सुरुवात गर्न सक्नुहुनेछ । हामीले तपाईंलाई भिडियो निर्देशन पनि प्रदान गर्नेछाै जसले तपाइलाई नँया विचारहरु ल्याउन मदत गर्नेछ र यस Online Challenge लाई पूरा गर्न तपाइलाई मार्गदर्शन गर्नेछ ।

तेस्रो चरण: विजेता घोषणा

हामी सबैले बुझाएका सामाधानको चित्रण संकलन गर्नेछाैँ र जूरी सदस्यहरुले तपाइको सामाधान चित्रणमा प्रस्तुत गरिएको विचारको आधारमा एक विजेताको निर्णय लिइनेछ । विजेता हाम्रो फेसबुक पृष्ठ मार्फत घोषणा गरिनेछ र विजयी विचारले काठमाडौंमा सेप्टेम्बरमा हुने Changemaker Challenge Junior को अन्तिम कार्यक्रममा भाग लिने अवसर पनि प्राप्त गर्नेछ। अन्तिम कार्यक्रम एक अवसर हो जस्मा शीर्ष १० विचारहरुले आफ्नो 3-D Model निर्माण गरी त्यसलाई प्रस्तुत गर्ने माैका पाउने छन् ।

Dopper Changemaker Challenge Junior ले तपाईको विधार्थीको सिकाइको प्रत्येक चरणलाई डिजाइन प्रक्रिया द्वारा समर्थन गर्नेछ । विश्वको प्लास्टिक  समस्याको बारे ज्ञान पाउनुका साथै, यस Online Challenge ले:

• प्लास्टिकको समस्या कति साम्म विकराल छ भन्ने कुराको ज्ञान पाउनेछन् र डिस्पोजेबल प्लास्टिकको समस्याको सामना गरी यसलाई प्रार्थमिकताका साथ यसको प्रयोगलाई रोक्नुपर्ने कुरा बुझनेछन् ।

प्लास्टिक प्रदूषण जताततै छ । प्लास्टिक मोडको पुनःलेखन गर्ने र प्लास्टिकको कहानीलाई एक नवीन र रचनात्मक अन्त्य दिने हाम्रो पालो हो।

Join the Dopper Changemaker Challenge Junior Online

All of us have been confined to our houses for several weeks. There are no signs of schools reopening anytime soon. Our children are participating in the online learning classes offered by schools because learning shouldn’t stop.

Considering the present situation of lockdown, Karkhana in a collaboration with Dopper Foundation and Designathon Works has brought the online version of Changemaker Challenge Junior. If you are looking for some interesting educational resources and activities to engage your class/child/siblings then, this is the right challenge for you. The students (aged 8-14) will identify, understand, generate and sketch their solutions to single-use-plastic.

How does this online challenge work? 

Phase I: Registration 

First of all, after knowing about this online challenge, you will need to register yourself or your class/student/siblings/child for this challenge. You can do that by filling out the below-given Google form. This will help us to know about your interest in this challenge.

After we receive your registration, we will contact you via email and send you the details and lesson resources you will need to complete this challenge.

Phase II: Completing the challenge and submitting your solution ideas. 

After you receive the lesson resources, you can get started with the challenge right away. You will be provided with video instruction that will guide you to come up with new ideas and complete the challenge.

Finally, you will need to draw your solution idea in a paper, click a picture, and submit the drawing via mail to us.

Phase III: Judging and Winner announcement 

We will collect all the submissions and the jury members will decide one winner based on the idea presented in the drawing. The winner will be announced via our Facebook page and the winning idea will also get the opportunity to participate in the final event of Changemaker Challenge Junior which might be held in September in Kathmandu. Final event is an opportunity for top 10 ideas to build an actual 3D model of their ideas and present it.

What will students/children learn? 

The Dopper Changemaker Challenge Junior supports your students in every step of the Learning by Designing process. As well as gaining more knowledge of the world’s plastic problem, this challenge will:

• Stimulate their creative thinking and get children to listen to and come up with new ideas.
• Trigger their critical thinking while discussing and choosing their best solution.
• Teach them how to translate science and nature into a practical design.
• Empower them, teach them that kids can contribute to creating a better world.
• Gain insight into the magnitude of the plastic problem. They will realize that single-use plastic needs to be tackled and – preferably – prevented.

Does Changemaker Challenge Junior meet our educational targets? 

Sure it does! Since Karkhana has been closely working with the National Curriculum, we understand the value and importance of diving substance to educational targets.
